We boast excellent benefits, opportunities for professional development/growth, and ownership potential.PEC is active in the market sectors of Education (K-12 and Higher Education), Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, Government, Manufacturing, Retail, Hospitality, Retirement Communities, Design-Build, Mission Critical, and Military/DOD.Duties and Responsibilities:Applicants for this position must be fluent in the knowledge of PLC hardware and software, including Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar platforms.Experience designing and implementing automation and control systems, HMI interfaces, and SCADA systems.Proven track record in managing and delivering complex automation and control projects on time and within budget.Excellent project management skills, prioritizing tasks, managing resources, and mitigating risks.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.Professional certifications in PLC programming, specialization, and project management a plusBachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 10+ years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.Client meetings and communications.Lead team of electrical/controls designers and engineers.Project pursuits/planning/development.Candidate will design/engineer electrical automation and control systems.Candidate will be responsible for production of construction documents and construction administration for projects.Evaluation of electrical automation and control systems.Coordination of automation and control systems with other engineering disciplines.Report preparation and presentation to clients.Qualifications:B.S.
