The Senior Director PMO (Project Management Office) will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of a diverse portfolio of related projects across various departments while creating a team that delivers a repeatable, scalable project platform aligned with our business objectives. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of project management methodologies, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget ultimately driving quick and agile execution. The Sr. Director PMO must have a background in infrastructure, construction, EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) or related.Job DescriptionDevelop and implement project management policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent execution and alignment with organizational goals.Lead and mentor a team of project managers, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.Collaborate with executive leadership to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.Allocate resources, monitor progress, and manage budgets for multiple projects simultaneously.Identify and mitigate risks across projects, ensuring proactive risk management strategies are in place.Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the project management team.Serve as a key liaison between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.Conduct regular project reviews and assessments to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.Utilize project management tools and systems to streamline processes and enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in project management.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification required.10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing complex projects.Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, cross-functional projects from initiation through completion.Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus and drive decision-making.Must have experience in infrastructure, construction, EPC (engineering, procurement, construction)Strategic thinker with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing demands.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, SiteTracker, Asana, JIRA) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.Ability to thrive in a high paced and at times stressful environmentStrong leadership, communication, management, and interpersonal skillsHighly organized and systematicPassion for people development and creating an engaged and positive cultureStrong analytical and problem solving skillsWhat's on OfferBase salary $150,000 - $185,000 depending on experience, bonus, full benefits, 401K, vacation, tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities.
