Professor of Practice and Executive Director of the Community Folk Art Center (CFAC) . Founded in 1971 as a unit of the AAS Department, CFAC is a vibrant site for visual and performing arts of African Americans and of the African Diaspora. It is devoted to arts programming that engages Black cultures and serves as a nexus between the University community and people of African descent in surrounding regions.
