This position manages and oversees growth of online fundraising and engagement programs by executing effective strategies and techniques via email, website promotions and other digital channels.Reporting to the Senior Digital Engagement Officer, the Content Manager works closely with partners across UA and the broader university to develop and deploy new creative communications, solicitation and crowdfunding strategies and track progress against goals. Although this role doesnt supervise any direct reports currently, the position may supervise student interns in the future.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSDigital Fundraising Channel Management and Execution

Build, test and execute mass email marketing programs to support university giving and engagement (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)Develop and manage landing pages and tools for online fundraising, crowdfunding initiatives and event programsWork to segment, strategically target and evaluate areas of potential growth to increase dollars raised, boost engagement and develop donor pipelineCollaborate on omni-channel fundraising campaigns, ensuring the creation and delivery of messaging is consistent across platformsEnsure emails and landing pages are compliant with law, in line with user preferences and follow industry best practicesStay apprised of digital fundraising trends and emerging opportunities in email marketing

Digital Content Planning and Creation

Manage online communications calendar and oversee the creation, production and delivery of content that inspires a culture of philanthropy at St. ThomasCollaborate with UA staff, students and interns to identify, share and prioritize story ideas and new content for emails, YouTube, social media and the webWork within brand voice, both in visual representation and editorial style, to support the consistency of messaging across campaigns and the universityLiaise with partners across the university to amplify University Advancement content on St. Thomas channels outside of UA
