The brand advertising director establishes and implements advertising strategies, leads the design, development, and implementation of advertising strategies in alignment the Bank's First Citizens Bank and Silicon Valley Bank brands. Partners with business leaders to grow revenue and deliver on operating metrics.

Responsibilities

Develops, implements, and manages integrated marketing and advertising strategies. Leads marketing that supports the Bank's brand, goals, and business segment offerings with a focus on improving profitability and revenue.

Partner with LOB segment leads and media strategist, deliver creative platform, communication strategies and media plans while also defining and monitoring KPIs.

Plan, monitor and manage the advertising budget-seeking efficiencies against delivery goals. With media strategist, lead communication and media plan updates that respond to the needs of the business.

Own and lead relationships with external advertising agency partners. Negotiate and build retainer and scope of work, manage agency burn and make decisions that will effectively deliver against the overall advertising investment.

Managerial Functions - Leads a team of brand marketing associates. Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company goals.

Collaboration - Builds collaborative relationships with senior leadership in order to understand priorities and business objectives. Works closely with leadership on refining marketing strategies that provide the highest impact in advertising for them and the Bank.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years of experience in the area of advertising, brand management or marketing communication OR High School diploma or GED with 12-14 years of advertising, brand management or marketing communications.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise and understanding of advertising strategies and marketing principles.Strategic thinking and planning skills to formulate advertising strategies that align with company goals and target audiences.Senior leadership experience in having previously managed teams (cross functional) and large-scale advertising campaigns. Senior level agency background a plus.Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey campaign ideas, expectations, and progress updates to clients and team members.Understanding of current advertising trends and consumer behavior to create relevant and compelling advertising content.Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines while prioritizing and maintaining a high standard of work.Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skillExcellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

The base pay for this position is generally between $ 160375- $277973 annually. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
