Our environment is fast-paced + ever-changing AND we strive to provide work-life balance through our schedule, benefits and company culture.WL is looking for a mature, dedicated and experienced Graphic Designer/Production Artist that is excited to join an established design team and bring our Creative Director's art to life.You are right for this position if you enjoy both working independently and as part of a team, have excellent attention to detail and are experienced in Illustrator, Photoshop and photo retouching.Any familiarity with illustration/drawing, screen printing, manufacturing/production or Procreate are pluses!Your primary goal is to digitize our Creative Director's hand drawings and other intellectual property into graphic apparel designs. Head of DesignJob Summary:The primary role of the Graphic Designer/Production Artist is to digitize our Creative Director's drawings into graphic designs for apparel production. They will also work in tandem with artists and our production team to create original designs.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneDuties/Responsibilities:Collaborate with Creative Director, artists and other Design Team members to understand the project, design and finished productInterpret and digitize sketches and verbal direction from creative designers to create production ready digital artMake various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during developmentCreate original art + graphic designs in a style consistent with WL as neededPrepare drafts of design work and provide samples to design team executives for reviewRevise projects as necessary based on feedback given from Creative Director, Head of Design and design team membersWork closely with the Development Team to prepare designs for sample productionEffectively communicate with other designers and departments around planned designs and dropsCreate social media mockupsCreate tech packs for production & developmentCreate production sheets that include color, sizing and other information required for production & developmentRetouch digital photosPerforms other related duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:Bachelor's degree preferred; major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines preferred but not requiredAt least 5 years of related work experience is highly preferredHighly proficient in Adobe Photoshop & IllustratorProficient in photo retouchingExperience in illustration and drawing preferredExperience in screen printing and/or manufacturing/production preferredExperience in Procreate preferredStrong attention to detailReceptive to creative direction and constructive criticism and ability to seamlessly implement feedbackAbility to provide constructive feedback in a way that is effective and considerateExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience in product photography is preferredAbility to work independently on an assignment without supervisionAbility to work collaboratively as a member of a teamProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at timesEEO statement:Warren Lotas LLC is a proud equal employment opportunity employer.
