Schedule:

Your typical schedule will be Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Location:

You'll work on site at our corporate office in Wilmington, NC.

What you’ll be doing:You’ll be engaging with a diverse group of internal and external constituents to support the marketing and engagement efforts for the organization. This includes material development, social media management, video production, and advertising.Serve as the point of contact for media companies, vendors, and other referral sources.As the Marketing and Communication Manager, you’ll be collaborating internally with other teams to determine their marketing needs, update or develop new materials, and assist with strategies tailored to each department’s unique needs. Examples include:

Business DevelopmentHuman ResourcesFoundationCommunity Engagement TeamSenior Leadership

You’ll work to proactively pitching public relations efforts such as news stories and interviews to media outlets to secure placement, as well as schedule and coordinate media appearances, workshops, foundation events, and other topics for the agency.Creation of content and developing target audiences for public release across various platforms, including social media posts, collateral materials, commercials, website updates, digital boards, and other digital media.As part of this role, you’ll strategize content development to establish the organization's tone and voice across all channels and for all constituents and manage brand reputation.You’ll proactively manage and report on digital media, social media, advertising etc results to the leadership team.We would love for you to bring new ideas and software to the company, keeping up with future trends to create a strategic marketing vision for the organization.

What we are looking for:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or communications.Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in marketing and/or communications or similar role, ideally in a healthcare organization. Thorough understanding of marketing and organizational communications elements (including traditional and digital marketing) and research methods. Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.
