Production ArtistMonday - FridayHybrid (4 days onsite 1 day work from home)
Havertys Furniture is looking for a creative and highly motivated Production Artist to join our Havertys team in Atlanta, GA! This position works closely with our Creative Director and Senior Graphic Designer as support on various projects and assignments.
The Production Artist role is perfect for you if; you have a sharp eye for detail and an obsession with consistency across all platforms; your passion for kerning and typography are unrivaled; your skills in design and composition inspire you to excel in the world of production; you hold yourself to a high standard of efficiency and accuracy; you value an organized file system; you think managing multiple projects is a breeze; you have a collaborative, team-oriented mindset, and excellent communication skills; you're not afraid to speak up when you need support.
Key Responsibilities:• Consistently demonstrate design capability with an eye for detail and execution• Work closely with creative team to support on creating a variety of digital collateral• Creating digital content, including static, animated & video banners• Creating multiple versions and sizes of assets for different platforms, based on a design template, while ensuring consistency across all brand assets• Keeping up to date on and adhering to digital best practices across different platforms• Exporting final deliverables based on requested formats• Creating & editing social media content• Creating Content Fragments for Havertys.com• Managing & filing & tagging product photography
Job Requirements
You Must Have:• 2- or 4-year Graphic Design degree• 1-2+ years' experience in a graphic design / production role• Must be proficient in Adobe CS (InDesign, Photoshop, Premier, Adobe Express, etc)• Must have Photoshop animation skills• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager preferred• Strong typography skills• Creative problem-solving skills with an enthusiastic, "can do" attitude.• Exceptional attention to detail, organization & time management skills• Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards• Capable of following instruction and taking constructive design feedback• Possess a strong work ethic, a self-Starter and a team player
