Description: The MFC Global Integration Communications Leader will collaborate across all MFC lines of business, partnering across MFC Communications to plan and execute global storytelling of MFC products and capabilities. The individual will be responsible for country-specific communications, in close coordination with MFC program communicators and the Lockheed Martin Strategy & International Communications team. This communicator will be responsible for country-connectivity, content planning and execution of targeted messaging to ensure stakeholders achieve specific country, regional, and global business objectives. The individual will serve as a project leader with dotted-line reporting relationships to global colleagues.

Basic Qualifications:

• Previous experience managing, developing and executing strategic communications plans for senior leaders; with proven record of collaboration and client-service delivery.

• Demonstrated record of developing and executing strategic, integrated communications through efficient planning and skill.

• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task under deadline pressure with employees at all levels in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

• Proven credibility, track record of vision and ability to deliver impactful communication for mass audiences.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline; 14 years of experience or 12 years of experience with a master’s degree.

• Superior writing, speaking and general communication skills.

• Confidence in working with executives and experience providing communications guidance to senior leaders.

• Strong business acumen and aptitude to learn a broad portfolio.

• Advanced planner with strong organizational skills.

• Willingness to work with others in various time zones.

• Ability to display agility and a growth mindset and comfortable performing with ambiguous information.

• Collaborative with fellow communicators and stakeholders.

• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control products and capabilities.

• Experience supporting global communications or business development pursuits encouraged.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
