Associate Marketing Project Coordinator

ABOUT YOU:

As an Associate Marketing Project Coordinator, you will support the Professional Sports Division by administering and executing key projects that support defined marketing strategies and tactical plans, from both a program and project perspective. This includes assisting with campaigns and processes, as well as executing go-to-market activities that support organizational goals such as driving growth, improving product quality and delivery, and driving efficiencies across the organization.

You will work with the direction and guidance of the Director of Marketing & Partnerships to manage and complete all activities and deliverables for assigned projects and programs, at times through coordination of cross functional teams. The general focus of the job is on projects which are multi-dimensional and cross functional in scope.

YOU HAVE:

Technical skills. Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing) and market research methods.

Attention to detail. Detail-oriented with strong organization skills and ability to multitask.

Analytical. Strong process orientation and meeting management skills.

Problem solving skills. Flexible approach to developing solutions for stated challenges/opportunities. Ability to engage and seeks diversity in thought, perspective, and presence for best possible solutions and results.

Great communication skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Skilled in writing and editing content.

Experience. 2+ years of business experience in marketing, customer service, and/or project management with basic understanding of new product, process and / or business development and marketing mix (4P’s).

Education. BA/BS in Business/Marketing or related field.

Preferred. Social media and digital knowledge. Have desktop publishing experience.

YOU WILL:

Participate in the development, implementation and management of marketing projects and programs. Coordinate activities to deliver on business objectives and go-to-market strategies, including but not limited to the following:

Providing a single point of contact for all related work on assigned projects

Work with cross functional teams on approach, strategies, and content development, for project

Assist in the development of the vision, pacing/phasing, work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports

Collaborate with all stakeholders including end users, sales, marketing, operations, service, etc. to execute and implement project plans

Act as the voice of the customer – pre, during and post- development; seek and identify market needs and requirements

Work with digital team on strategies, content calendar, content creation to drive engagement and users on social platforms

Collaborate with all stakeholders including end users, sales, marketing, operations, service, etc. to execute and implement program/project plans

Participate in project/product meetings, tracking and analysis. Develop and maintain milestones and project plans

Assist with presentation design, marketing copy and photo editing

Lead and manage league gifting program

Oversee multiple initiatives in parallel, in context of overall marketing projects

Coordinate, attend and support division events such as ring sizing, ring deliveries and sales events:

Coordinate packing and unpacking of events while managing a detailed packing list specific to each event

Coordinate travel arrangements

Budget management and analysis

Ability to attend and work events

Creation of sales materials that include but not limited to sales guides, price cards, order forms, sales training, etc.

On-site meeting management and logistics

Provide some administrative support to division, including but not limited to the following:

Document meeting notes and processes

Presentation support, including design and copy

Print and collate information

Process invoices for payment

Shipping items on a regular basis

Typical/expected % of overnight travel: May be up to 25%; often times on short notice
