Now if only our magic powers could make deadlines disappear …If your hero story involves using your creative superpowers for the forces of good, our team of passionate, zany, and overly caffeinated designers is eager to connect with you.About the Role:Reingold is hiring a Graphic Design, Art Director to join our growing team of communications strategists and creative specialists. In this role, you will serve as a lead creative supporting work for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, with a focus on telehealth marketing and training on projects such as videos, outreach materials, and presentation decks. You will shepherd design consistency, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.Here’s what you can expect to do in your day to day:Lead creative development on creative deliverables, ensuring brand consistency and quality.Develop creative concepts that drive action and help bring important causes to life.Distill research and background into empathy-driven, meaningful design executions.Apply and build your technical creative expertise and design thinking skills to support effective user experience and branding.Work with digital advertiser colleagues to develop effective online campaigns.Coordinate with internal stakeholders to manage timelines and resources.Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and design direction.Collaborate with the instructional design team to ensure alignment and avoid version control issues.Prepare production files for digital and print media.Use active listening to incorporate feedback and manage concept revisions.Collaborate with social media, video, web, and marketing staff to develop integrated approaches.Communicate with Senior Art Director to identify trends and opportunities for creative and collaborative improvement.This role is a good fit for someone with the following qualifications and skills:

At least 10 years of graphic design experience with branding and digital marketing campaignsProven ability to execute quickly on short-form animations for digital adsDiverse portfolio of digital and print design work that showcases skill in typography, layout, and iterating on a themeExperience in managing various teams and workstreamsExcellence with using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)Passion for staying on top of the latest trends and best practices in the fieldInnate tendencies to solve problems creatively, take initiative, and spread positivityStrong quality control (QC) skills with a brain for big ideasExcellent written and verbal communication skills (and we mean excellent)Ability to obtain a security clearanceBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in the fieldBonus points for skills in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, video editing software, animation, and Section 508 complianceNote:
