Overview

We're excited to be looking for a Junior Designer to join our Creative team in Brooklyn, NY. Reporting to our Senior Designer, you will assist in creating, editing and producing best-in-class digital/print assets across emails, social media ads, e-commerce, motion design, and print.

This role is perfect for you if you are passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences with the ability to translate plain copy text with provided photo assets into compelling branded typographic hierarchies that are appealing to our target audiences.

This role is based in Brooklyn, NY, and we have a 2 days in/3 days remote schedule.

What you'll doDesign a variety of digital assets across emails, social images and digital adsCreate, test, and implement designs and layouts with a focus on sales conversionCollaborate with the larger design team in translating our brand vision into impactful digital assets across all customer touchpointsCreate and edit daily segmented emails in order to highlight product launches, promotions, and retention educationMaintain consistency and alignment in our brand voice and identity across all creative contentSupport print production, assisting the print designer on mock-ups and editing files for printWe're looking for someone who brings

1-2 years of digital design work experience (in-house internship experience also accepted)Genuine passion for all things design and brandingBasic understanding of web design, photo retouching and color correctingProficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator; exposure to Sketch/Figma is a plusStrong collaboration skills, time management skills, and an impeccable eye for detailAbility to be adaptable and comfortable working in a changing environmentMotion graphics experience is a plusCompensation & Benefits

At Brooklinen, our goal is to offer a competitive total compensation package which we determine based on specific market data taking into account our company size, stage, industry, and location. The base salary range for this role is $60K.

Beyond base salary, we contribute significantly to offset the cost of health benefits, provide a financial stipend through Carrot Fertility to help with the costs associated with the fertility journey, offer a 401K with a 4% Safe Harbour match, have commuter benefits, and also provide a yearly product allowance.

We have 14 weeks of 100% paid parental leave for all new parents, year-long Summer Fridays, a workday that starts at 10 am, four weeks of vacation, and a one-month paid sabbatical at your 5th anniversary.
