Primary Purpose

The Marketing Coordinator will promote the agency and services to existing and prospective clients through strategic use of social media, graphics, logos, and other promotional products. This position performs duties at the professional level, directly related to the management or general business operations of the department. Must exercise independent judgement and discretion.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in digital media, Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications (and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field). Experience in a non-profit organization (desired, but not required). Minimum of three to five years of related experience in marketing, digital marketing, social media, writing and editing projects. Candidates will be asked to provide a portfolio of relevant previous projects.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Core CompetenciesOversight of website, including management and updates promotions using appropriate software in consultation with web support. Ensure content and creative elements of agency website and social media are in line with branding requirements.Develops and executes marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional advertising.Evaluates success of campaigns, including statistics and analyticsCreates engaging content for marketing materials, including website copy, blog posts, videos, infographics, and social media posts.Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing channels.Conducts market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitive analysis. Gather and analyze data to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.Participate in other agency fundraising or informational forums to promote collaboration between agencies and the community.Organizes and participates in promotional events, onsite meet 'n greets, and conferences. Coordinates logistics, materials, and promotional items for such events.Develops and maintains a positive public image for the organization through public-facing communication.Prepares corporate communications materials and procedural documents for companywide dissemination.Requirements

Meet all Education and/or Experience Requirements listed for the specific position.Provide references upon request.Request official transcripts upon offer of employment.Provide proof of current, valid Oregon Driver's License (or if out-of-state will obtain Oregon license within 30 days), comprehensive automobile insurance (if applicable) and a safe driving record (minimum of 3 yrs.) to use company or personal vehicle for required duties.Successfully pass a Criminal Background Check and Medicaid Fraud Check.Obtain and maintain current CPI Verbal De-Escalation Certification during employment.Obtain and maintain current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification during employment.Obtain a Food Handler's Card once employed.
