We're looking for talented, collaborative, and technical designers to join the team and drive our Design System forward while doing career-defining work.

At Snowflake, Product Designers identify opportunities, shape the vision of our products, and ensure we're delivering highly crafted, honed products that our customers love. As we continue to develop new products and push our existing products forward, we're looking Designers to redefine design tooling for working with data and AI. Our designs at Snowflake scale to a wide variety of surfaces and experiences like data visualization, code editors, monitoring and alerting, marketplace experiences, collaboration, and more.YOUR IMPACT:

Develop and evangelize the strategy and craft of our design system to ensure it is making an impact for our customers and internal teams

Align cross-functional teams and stakeholders on the importance of design systems for efficiently building high-quality products

Promote design excellence and quality standards across Snowflake through collaboration with the design team and partnersYOUR ROLE:

Identify and drive opportunities to create a vision and up-level our design system

Collaborate and effectively influence your engineering and product partners to design and deliver excellent products

Work end-to-end by identifying opportunities, establishing the vision, and working with engineering to deliver high quality, robust solutions

Collaborate with the broader design team to ensure a seamless product experience

Partner with researchers, data scientists, and product managers to drive solutions by leveraging qualitative and quantitative customer insights

Deliver detailed, robust components and work directly with engineering to to ensure a high quality product reaches the hands of our customers

Develop strong rationale for design decisions, and articulate your perspectiveYOUR EXPERIENCE:

12+ years as a product designer

Deep design systems experience

Experience collaborating closely with engineering and product partners

Experience working with data and technical complexity

End-to-end ownership of meaningful features or surfaces

Your end-user advocacy has shaped product experiences you can point to

Shipped products that have simplified complex workflows

You have iterated on shipped products based on customer usage and feedbackNICE TO HAVE:

Enterprise design systems experience

Experience in fast-paced environments with quick delivery and iteration cycles

Ability to prototype either alone or with engineering partners to get out of mockups faster

Interest in the data space and cutting edge technologies

Experience with web technologies like HTML, Javascript/React, and CSS
