About the Role
The Digital Designer, Amazon will be responsible for overseeing the design codes for this priority online retailer from development and final execution of all its digital assets, site experience, UX/UI, media, affiliate ads, social, omni-channel promotions and ensuring visual merchandising graphics alignment. She/He will partner closely with cross-functional teams and content creation to gather content to understand concepts and storytelling – creating work that’s elevated and disruptive. She/He will work on new development projects as well as refreshing those existing digital assets on the platform. This role will provide a sense of independent thinking and being able to make logical design decisions based on brand code.

Primary responsibilities
Effectively Lead and manage Digital Design for online retailer (Amazon’s platform) as well as also lead Social contentEnsure excellence in execution in all digital assets, site experience, UX/UI, media, affiliate ads, social, omni-channel promotions, blog, R.com, direct mail and visual merchandising graphics work being designed and executed for the US and International markets.Closely follow Digital brand guidelines and evolve as needed.Comfortably drive the conversation on digital first concept and design.Keep up to date with digital innovation.Create wireframes, and prototypes.Leverage a digital and mobile-first customer mindset through design, awareness of competitive landscape, trends and emerging technologies.Works closely with our Brand, Development, Research, and Analytics teams to deliver insight-driven, data-tested solutions.Has a working knowledge of current UI and UX trends and leads team in creating best-in-class site maps, wireframes, user journeys, and websitesMaintain visual and conceptual consistency across multi-channel brand strategy for collections and brand initiativesOversee look and feel of all elements Amazon Product launch and refresh pages and continuous category/franchise support programs in partnership with Content Ops, Product Development, 3D Design Ops, Editorial/Copy, Packaging, VM/SD, Global Marketing, Education, Global Comms and International teams.Execution of vendor strategy that would include selection and ongoing relationship with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and consistent quality across all areas of digital, photography production, and print.Ensure consistent, cohesive, design language throughout.When necessary, assist in video shoots and photoshoots in collaboration with Social teams for contentPresent Design Direction during weekly creative touch base with senior level Management.Collaborate with Digital, E-com, CRM, Brand, Social, regional partners, and Creative Services on creative briefs and refining our design process for each type of creative request.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in design or related field.3+ years of experience in FIGMA, UX/UI & digital design with a very strong background in Digital, Visual Design, and Creative/Art Direction (beauty industry necessary, Amazon experience a plus)Animation, video, 3D, HTML, DHTML, CSS and web optimization knowledge is a plus.Excellent verbal, interpersonal, networking, and written communications skills.Basic understanding of project management platforms, Asana knowledge is a plus.Experience working with various, cross-functional, internal and external groups to deliver meaningful results on time with limited direction in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrates ability to lead a project and/or lead teams both, internal and external teams.Self-motivated, innovative and able to multi-task under pressure in fast paced environmentMust be highly organized, excellent time management skills as well as fiscally responsible.Ability to multitask parallel deadlines with attention to detail.Ability to ideate strong concepts and demonstrated ability to implement and execute concepts.What Orveon offers you:

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
The pay range for this position is $64,500 – $96,500. Supplemented with all the amazing benefits above for full-time employees!
