Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to the marketing department in various areas including editorial support, production support, programming support, and projects support/leadership.
Responsibilities:- Editorial Support [20%]:- Lead the creation and maintenance of monthly editorial calendars that guide US teams and inform global editorial strategy.- Create Quip templates and story EIs, as well as build app and game collection EIs. Archive monthly content.- Facilitate the maintenance of all US editorial content ensuring ongoing support for recommendable efforts.- Lead developer outreach for relevant editorial content.
- Production Support [20%]:- Lead weekly meetings to review stories for the upcoming week and ensure alignment between editorial and production teams.- Attend additional meetings such as priority live kickoff, cover story syncs, IAE stories, etc.- Participate in fast track and bundle pitch meetings to discuss potential upcoming stories.
- Programming Support [20%]:- Prepare and send out daily programming alerts. Program story visibility dates.- Update and maintain general programming instructions.- Maintain security settings for confidential EIs.
- Projects Support/Leadership [40%]:- Establish Story Group analysis and optimization workflow with a focus on growing the business and driving editorial efficiencies.- Develop global core programming frameworks to improve alignment with best practices.- Create an efficient content maintenance workflow to ensure key content remains up-to-date, performant, and available on store.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience).- Proven experience in marketing or branding roles is preferred but not required.- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.- Proficiency in using productivity tools such as Quip and familiarity with game and app collections.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
