Our Design team is responsible for establishing the trends, color, and style direction for our seasonal and customer-driven lines. They create apparel designs to be shared with internal teams during trend presentations, and external teams at buyer meetings. Once orders are placed, the Design team project manages and oversees the sample development and production process in conjunction with cross-functional partners.

We are seeking an Assistant Sleepwear Designer to join the team. The ideal candidate will be passionate, self-motivated, eager to learn and able to execute these essential responsibilities:

Research the market and assist designer with market/trend research on new shilouettes, color, and fabrication.Assist designers on creating brand right collections to reflect season trends and account needs.Help to create flat sketches and CAD image; update and manage CADs to send to buyers, sales, and cross-functional team members.Prepare collections for major meetings including line presentation, steaming, tagging and hanging samples.Track and organize development samples by following up with factories to ensure samples and strike-offs are received on time.Assist with execution of design sketches/prototypes and provide clear and accurate specifications for fit, construction, fabrication, print, and color.Create/color match and updated seasonal color palettes.Ensure production packages are correct and production ready.Manage day to day projects such as color matching and keeping up to date seasonal binders.May attend routine team meetings with cross functional team members.Pursue opportunities to personally grow and develop/improve skills.Job Requirements & Qualifications:

Fashion degree or related field bachelors degree.Internship experience strongly preferred.Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Excel.Positive attitude and team player.Excellent communication and follow-up skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Candidate must be passionate about fashion and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
