Wichita State University Foundation and Alumni Engagement (WSUFAE) is looking for an organized, creative individual for our Graphic Designer to join our Marketing and Communications team. The Graphic Designer will play a pivotal role in supporting WSUFAE by creating impactful design solutions across both print and digital platforms. This role involves collaborating closely with WSUFAE staff to generate visually compelling materials that align with the organization's standards. Key responsibilities include designing marketing assets for donor and alumni events, leading the creative direction for "The Shocker" magazine and other print publications, and producing solicitation materials to support fundraising efforts. The Graphic Designer will manage the entire design process, from initial concept through to final implementation, while balancing multiple projects to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.With a team of more than 50 dedicated individuals working to support fundraising and donor and alumni relationships, the WSUFAE is proud to champion the continued growth of Wichita State University. Primary Responsibilities :

Develop and produce design solutions across print and digital platforms to support WSU's ongoing donor and alumni engage outreach efforts.Interact and collaborate with WSUFAE staff daily to generate design concepts and materials that adhere to the organization's visual standards.Create unique and appealing event marketing assets (save the dates, invitations, programs, and day-of materials) for donor and alumni engagement events.Act as the creative lead for designing "The Shocker", Wichita State's magazine, and additional segmented print publications for various academic colleges and programs.Create solicitation materials that support the WSUFAE development team and ongoing fundraising campaigns.Oversee all design aspects of a project life cycle from creative development to final product implementation.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring high-quality deliverables

Job RequirementsHigh School diplomaAt least five years of experience in graphic art, design or commercial art - education may be substitutedCommitment to the WSU Foundation and Alumni Engagement core values of Integrity, Service, Excellence, and CollaborationProject professional image at all timesRequired Skills

Able to execute and meet strict deadlines while exhibiting high amounts of creativityProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteIn-depth knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator on Mac or PCProven ability to design for a wide range of print and digital mediaTechnical understanding of four-color and digital printingExcellent organizational, interpersonal, oral, and accurate written communication skills.Maintain confidentiality of information, records, and materials.Highly motivated and ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.Physical Requirements

Preferred Requirements and Skills
