Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, an international law firm, is seeking a temporary Graphic Designer. This position will work on graphic design projects to include producing print and other publishing projects for firmwide marketing and business development purposes. This is a temporary position.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:1. Participates in the planning, development and production of graphic materials.2. Provides expertise and creative support to a variety of internal and external marketing materials, including print and digital brochures, newsletters, meeting and event materials, advertisements, web/social media graphics, video editing/design and other projects as needed.3. Collaborates with Marketing and Business Development team members and recommends effective solutions to achieve marketing objectives within Hunton Andrews Kurth brand guidelines. Recommends fresh ideas for new print and digital marketing materials. Implements layouts and design in unique and emerging media.4. Assembles and curates recorded film and video footage, applies artistic editing techniques and creates finished, professional video projects that accurately reflect the firm’s overall vision and goals.

Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of job related experience required, preferably in a law firm, professional services, or other client relationship-based organization. Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.Other Qualifications: Travel may be required. Availability and willingness to work hours as needed to meet critical deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications. Strong commitment to client service excellence and teamwork. Must possess the highest standards of ethical conduct and professionalism. Must act as catalyst for change, drive and own results. Creative and innovative. Excellent communication skills (oral, written and listening) and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse group of professionals. Sound judgment and flexibility. Ability to work well under pressure, patience, diplomacy, high stress tolerance, excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing conditions. Visual acuity needed to process and read extensive written communications. Ability to receive and convey detailed information through oral communication. Essential competency processes include language ability, reasoning and memory. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must possess the abilities or aptitudes to proficiently perform each of the responsibilities and accountabilities described above, with or without reasonable accommodation.
