Our client, an international AmLaw firm is seeking an experienced PR Specialist to join one of its eight bustling locations: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Kansas City, Nashville, New York, Philadelphia, or Washington, D.C. This role is perfect for a dynamic individual who thrives on crafting compelling narratives and building the firm’s brand visibility.
*Key Responsibilities of PR Specialist:** *Content Creation:* Draft and edit press releases, accolades, and lateral recruiting announcements. Develop communications materials that shine a spotlight on firm news and achievements.* *Cross-Platform Promotion:* Collaborate with social media, website, and internal communications teams to ensure a comprehensive content strategy.* *Media Management:* Track media coverage, produce detailed media reports, and share with internal stakeholders.* *Awards Coordination:* Maintain the awards tracker and work with marketing professionals to submit suitable candidates. Draft copy for awards submissions and interact with attorneys, marketing professionals, and practice groups for successful nominations.
*Qualifications for PR Specialist:** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in English, communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.* Minimum of four years of experience in public relations.* Experience in the legal industry and/or agency settings.* Editorial or journalism background is highly welcome.
