Marketing Communications Senior Specialist
will collaborate with the Marketing Communications Director and Manager to plan, implement, and manage both internal and external communications and PR initiatives. This role requires excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational and analytical abilities, and proficiency in computer skills. The specialist supports communications through online mechanisms, writes and coordinates press releases, updates the firm's website and social media accounts, and tracks metrics and analytics. Additionally, the specialist works with Business Development and Marketing managers on strategic submissions for rankings and awards, drafts nominations, assists in creating marketing materials, and maintains media contact lists.
Key skills required include creativity, resourcefulness, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and the ability to build credibility and relationships. The specialist must manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, have strong editing skills, and be familiar with AP Style. Proficiency in social media, understanding confidentiality, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.
The position requires a bachelor's degree and 3-4 years of relevant experience in a communications role within a law firm, PR/marketing agency, or similar professional services environment. The salary range is $95,000 - $105,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
