Our corporate law firm, Chambliss Law, is looking for a Marketing and Communications Specialist to assist with content marketing, digital campaigns, events, and a wide variety of projects. We are looking for a team member who has a passion for writing and editing, experience in social media and graphic design, an interest in event planning, and a willingness to take on whatever the day may bring.

Description

Our growing mid-sized law firm provides comprehensive legal services for an impressive list of local, regional, national, and international clients. We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Specialist who will help us support and promote the firm's brand, service areas, and targeted industries. The Specialist will report directly to the Marketing and Business Development Director and will be responsible for marketing communications and design, marketing operations, and event coordination in support of business development and marketing efforts across the firm.

Roles and Responsibilities

Core FunctionsAssist with the firm's social media strategy, including content creation, graphic design, and posting for Facebook and LinkedIn - maintaining a positive public image within these networksDraft, edit, and distribute copy for the firm's content marketing initiatives, often working on website content, email marketing campaigns, client updates, blog posts, and speaking engagement materialDraft and review various written communications, including but not limited to press releases, firm news, marketing collateral, capabilities decks, online bios, event/webinar descriptions, and newsletter articlesAdhere to the company's style guide, ensuring that we produce high-quality and error-free copyWork with internal stakeholders to brainstorm content ideas, in line with the company's strategy and in support of various brand initiativesAdditional Duties

Assist with the implementation and execution of the firm's marketing and business development strategyPerform website updates in the CMS on a regular basisMonitor and provide feedback for the continuous improvement of the firm's website and landing pages, assisting with quality assurance updates, SEO, and website analyticsCoordinate and execute editorial calendars and email campaigns, often utilizing marketing technology toolsAssist with firm presentations, ensuring quality control, branding, and engaging copy and graphicsAssist with sponsorship requests and fulfillment of obligations, including building relationships with community partners, supplying sponsor information, filling tables, ensuring tickets are used, etc.Assist with planning for seminars, webinars, speaking engagements, and firm-sponsored events (ranging from small meet and greets to large scale conferences)Contribute to firm public and media relations efforts; assist with reporting and utilize media monitoring toolsMeasure and report performance of campaigns and assess against KPIsWork with attorneys on business development efforts, attending strategy meetings and conducting appropriate follow-up efforts, coordinating with other resources as neededConduct market and industry research to support the legal team and marketing and business development departmentWork with vendors to quote print and SWAG projects, supplying new and creative ideas to the teamBuild and maintain client/prospect databases and marketing lists, including competitive intelligence research and CRM data entryBuild and develop strategic relationships with key industry players, agencies, and vendorsRemain current with latest industry trends and best practicesSkills & Competencies

Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent writer and editor, familiar with AP styleExperienced in design programs, such as Canva, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and PhotoshopKeen attention to detailA self-starter and team player, able to accept direction, yet work independentlyStrong desire to drive innovation and creativityThrives in a fast-paced work environment, adaptable, able to multi-task, and remains calm under pressureStrong client centric work ethic with a positive outlookStrong analytical skills and data-driven thinkingOutstanding time management and project management skillsHigh level of proficiency using Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to learn new marketing technologies and software programsQualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree is required, concentration in marketing, communications, or business preferredThree to five years of experience in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, business development, or related fieldCRM, CMS, and email marketing experience preferredSolid knowledge of website analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics)Experience with website content development and management and SEO requiredA portfolio of work available for review with resume (writing and design samples)Benefits
