Key job responsibilities

Own the Design Process: Manage and take ownership of end-to-end product design in a dynamic, iterative environment.

Simplify Complexity: Create intuitive user experiences by leveraging research and data and by thoroughly validating your own design solutions.

Collaborate Effectively: Partner with design, research, product, and engineering teams to set UX guidelines and drive cross-team collaboration.

Communicate and Influence: Engage with various audiences to drive solutions forward through storytelling and presentations to customer as well as stakeholders.

Be Customer Obsessed: Challenge the status quo to improve design patterns and ensure exceptional customer experiences.

A day in the life

As a UX Designer in Workforce Solutions, you will collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to align on priorities and objectives. You will manage multiple products and features, ensuring they meet user needs and provide a cohesive experience. Working closely with fellow UX designers, you will integrate individual features into a seamless user journey. With the support of UX Researchers and Content Specialists, you will refine designs through iterative feedback aligning closely with our internal processes around accessibility and design systems and patterns. Regular peer reviews and stakeholder sessions will help you maintain high-quality deliverables. Your contributions will enhance Workforce Solutions with thoughtful and customer obsessed design.

This multidisciplinary team has created truly meaningful products and experiences for over a million Amazon employees. Basic Qualifications

5+ years of design experience

3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience

Have an available online portfolio

Experience with a variety of UX tools such as Figma, Figjam and other similar tools

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs

Experience creating accessible designs and working with design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across products.

Experience in designing intuitive and engaging mobile user experiences.

Experience leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $184,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
