**About this role:**Supporting senior leaders in Legal and Finance, this position will devise executive, internal, and external communications strategies for high-priority, high-stakes corporate matters, with the aim of promoting and protecting Wells Fargo's reputation. This position will office in **Charlotte, NC** or **New York, NY** and is required to be in the office 3 days a week. The Wells Fargo job profile is **Senior Lead Communications Consultant** .**In this role, you will:**+ Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic counselor to senior leaders in Legal and Finance+ Develop and implement communications strategies - including scenario plans, stakeholder engagement plans, and messaging+ Write talking points, briefing documents, leader messages, intranet articles, press releases, key messages, media statements, and social media submissions+ Support C-suite level town halls, including event planning, logistics, talking points, and decks+ Respond to reporters from key national print, newswire, radio and broadcast media outlets+ Act as a spokesperson for media inquiries or prepare suitable subject matter experts to respond+ Identify and execute on executive advocacy, external speaking, and award opportunities+ Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes+ Partner with other communicators to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messagingDepending on the volume of applications received, this job posting may be removed prior to the indicated close date.**Required Qualifications:**+ 7+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education**Desired Qualifications:**+ Experience developing communications strategies and plans for financial services companies+ Experience counseling senior leaders on high profile issues and internal communications+ Experience with issues management and crisis communications+ Experience working with reporters from national and trade media outlets+ Experience writing stories across various social, internal, and digital channels+ Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades and influences decision makers**Office Locations & Pay Ranges:**+ 401 South Tryon Street - Charlotte, NC ($111,100 to $197,500)+ 150 East 42nd Street - New York, NY ($133,300 to $237,100)**Pay Range**Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
