The Vice President of Marketing and Communications is responsible for designing and executing the strategic direction of Veritext’s marketing and communication efforts, enhancing brand visibility, and driving awareness. This role demands an individual with a strategic mindset, capable of developing and disseminating compelling narratives to a broad audience set, maintaining brand integrity, and leveraging market insights to position Veritext as a thought leader in the industry and with an eye toward influencing its growth trajectory.What you'll do:+ Strategic Leadership: Formulate and execute comprehensive marketing and communication strategies that align with Veritext’s goals and amplify our presence in the market.+ Brand Management: Oversee the strategic management of the Veritext brand, ensuring its evolution to remain relevant and strong in a competitive market. Direct the management and evolution of Veritext’s brand identity to ensure consistency across all platforms and touchpoints.+ Audience Engagement: Customize communication strategies to effectively connect with diverse audiences, including clients, independent contractors, employees, and investors.+ Team Leadership: Guide and nurture a team of marketing and communication professionals, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.+ PR and Media Relations: Spearhead public relations efforts, including the development of key messaging, coordinating with a PR firm to publish articles in legal journals and relevant media, managing media inquiries, and cultivating relationships with key media outlets.+ Communications: Lead programs, initiatives and culture-building endeavors that strengthen internal communication efforts. Oversee the internal and external websites, develop communications protocols and playbooks, and assist with developing communication platforms that align with the organizational objectives.+ Market Intelligence/Research: Drive and oversee collection of primary and use of secondary market research to identify trends, understand client perception and needs to inform new products and opportunities.
