In this role, you will lead Data Analytics for WW Promotions by partnering with all key parts of Amazon's e-commerce business: Shopping, Selling Partners, Supply chain, Personalization, Pricing and Promotions. Immerse yourself in an environment primed for growth and innovation, where your technical expertise will be instrumental in supporting our expanding Promotion ecosystem. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product, science, engineering, and business leaders to translate their strategic objectives into robust data analytics solutions and business critical metrics.Key job responsibilities- Build customer-facing reporting tools to provide insights and metrics which track forecast performance and explain variance- Develop data-driven analysis to understand Amazon growth drivers and demand pattern- Develop solutions that utilize the highest standards of analytical rigor and data integrity.- Partner with scientist and engineers to implement optimal analyses that drive to the root of the issue and create actionable insights or paths to solution.- Manage and execute entire projects or components of large projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations.- Collaborating cross-functionally to develop and deploy advanced analytics algorithms that uncover valuable insights from our rich data sets, and translating them into impactful business solutionsBasic Qualifications- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modelingPreferred Qualifications- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasetsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
