In this role, you'll be a key player in developing and implementing impactful learning experiences. As an Instructional Design Videographer Specialist, you’ll work closely with the L&D Director to create instructional materials that resonate with our brand and audience. Your responsibilities will include designing and delivering video-based learning experiences, instructor-led training, eLearning programs, job aids, workbooks, SCORM-compliant courses, and multimedia presentations. You'll play a vital role in producing engaging instructional videos and materials that boost learning outcomes and engagement.This is an in-office position working Monday-Friday, standard business hours.In this career opportunity, you will…+ Collaborate with instructional designers and the Director of L&D to conceptualize, storyboard, and script video content that aligns with learning objectives.+ Capture high-quality video footage using professional equipment and techniques, ensuring clarity, composition, and visual appeal.+ Edit video footage, incorporating graphics, animations, and other multimedia elements to enhance instructional value and engagement.+ Produce dynamic multimedia content for eLearning using software to construct courses and programs (Storyline, Camtasia, MS Office Suite).+ Develop interactive video experiences that promote learner interaction and retention.+ Ensure consistency in style, branding, and quality across all video productions.+ Optimize videos for delivery through various platforms, including learning management systems (LMS) and web-based platforms.+ Design and develop training materials to support both instructor-led training and online programs based upon adult learning principles, sales training experience is a plus.+ Develop job aids such as online training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, eLearning tutorials and reference works.+ Facilitate instructor led training programs, including Webinar based training sessions.+ Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video production, instructional design, and educational technology.+ Other duties as necessary or assigned to by the Director of L&DRequirementsYou will have…+ Proven experience (3 years) in videography, video editing, and multimedia production, preferably in an educational or instructional context.+ Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, After Effects), and audio editing tools.+ Knowledge of eLearning and related software, including Adobe Creative Suite with Articulate or Captivate+ Strong understanding of instructional design theory, design principles, instructor-led training, best practices and current research/theory in adult learning principles.+ Knowledge of accessibility standards and techniques for multimedia content.+ Creative mindset with the ability to transform and produce educational content into compelling visual narratives or educational training videos, by use of storyboards, scripting and planning video shoots.+ Familiarity with e-learning platforms and learning management systems (LMS).+ Knowledge of accessibility standards and techniques for multimedia content.+ Certification in instructional design or related fields (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance, CPLP), preferred.+ Ability to Travel up to 25%.+ Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.BenefitsCity Wide Franchise offers a competitive compensation structure to include bonus and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, PTO, and 401k.
