Job Summary:This is a benefits eligible term-limited part-time (17.5 hours) position ending May 31, 2025 with the potential for renewal, contingent on departmental and HDS needs and funding.Reporting to the Associate Dean of Religion and Public Life, this part-time, term position supports students in Harvard Divinity School’s (HDS) Master of Religion and Public Life (MRPL) program. The role focuses on helping students translate their learnings in religion to audiences relevant to their professional and vocational aspirations. The creative writing specialist will also design and conduct a series of creative writing workshops and other programs throughout the academic year. These initiatives, available to all HDS students, aim to enhance writing skills and support professional development.This position involves identifying and addressing a range of writing needs, from basic writing awareness to specific vocational requirements, and fostering cross-disciplinary communication through writing and related skills. The specialist will collaborate closely with the Associate Dean, who teaches the MRPL seminar, as well as other faculty and teaching fellows who support MRPL students.
