Wayfair’s Performance Marketing team is looking for an enthusiastic and data-driven Analyst to join our team and drive execution and analysis across our display advertising channel. As a member of Wayfair’s marketing team, you will help drive exceptional growth in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. You will own your own roadmap, come up with creative solutions to strategic and operational problems, and serve as part of the innovative core of the broader Marketing team.

The Performance Marketing team at Wayfair runs multi-million dollar campaigns to capture demand from customers searching for our categories across search engines. We build and leverage cutting edge campaign automation and bidding solutions designed in-house to optimize our campaigns and maximize revenue. We use advanced analytics to find and optimize growth opportunities and ensure our customers find and purchase what they need across our stores. We’re responsible for bidding on the right set of millions of ads, valuing willingness to pay for each, and developing creative and landing page strategies to best monetize search engine traffic. We collaborate with Data Science and Engineering to build new capabilities for the channel and rapidly iterate on new opportunities and nascent product categories.

What You'll Do

Develop strategy for priority initiatives and own implementation to drive measurable results, communicate progress and performance to marketing leadership, and share learnings with broader team

Work cross-functionally with Marketing Technology, Data Science, Creative, Category Management, and other teams to partner on strategies that grow the channel

Closely monitor campaign performance daily, identify and root cause problem solve abnormalities, and react to deviations from plan quickly and strategically

Cultivate and strengthen interpersonal relationships with internal & external partners, including Google and Microsoft

Institute rigorous test and learn methodology to achieve results

What You'll Need

2+ years of professional experience in marketing

Proficiency in data analysis, SQL, and telling stories through data visualization

Ability to handle multiple priorities, learn quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Excellent critical thinking and stakeholder management skills - ability to break down and communicate complex ideas and influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners

Strong mathematical and writing skills in order to compare data and evaluate tactics to maximize results, while sharing learnings with the broader team

A can-do attitude and growth mindset: you make things happen and crave impact

A desire to win as a team - collaborative team player who wants to see themselves and others succeed and thrive

An interest in leveraging big data to drive marketing campaigns
