The ideal candidate will have previous experience using videography and photography equipment and Adobe Premiere Pro or iMovie editing software.Duties include but are not limited to:+ Supporting college photography requests, including faculty and staff headshots, in the Dauer Hall photo studio+ Capturing photographs and videos at select college events for use in college marketing materials and social media channels+ Assisting with filming and editing of videos produced in the CLAS Dauer Hall media studio and other places as designated on campus+ Maintaining the CLAS PhotoShelter, the team’s digital asset management system, as well as the CLAS video archives and YouTube channel+ Preparing virtual college event recordings for distribution to attendees+ Creating original video content to be used for storytelling and promotional purposes on behalf of the college+ Researching and presenting recommendations for camera and video equipment purchases that could provide cost-effective solutions for future videography and photography projects+ Contributing to content creation for our college’s social media platforms+ Exhibiting a desire and willingness to learn in a fast-paced team-oriented environmentExpected Salary:$15 per hourMinimum Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through student Other Personnel Services (OPS) and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average.
