Amazon MGM Studios also produces and acquires Original movies for theatrical release and exclusively for Prime Video, in addition to producing Original content for Freevee, Amazon’s premium free streaming service.To continue to build the infrastructure of a best-in-class creative studio, we are leveraging the talents of our current A/V production team to establish a brand-new, stand-alone A/V Finishing Team. This is a pivotal move that will allow us to produce and finish A/V content even more efficiently and cost-effectively. We are seeking an experienced, eager A/V finishing expert to help us shape the future.The individual in this position will manage the finishing and post-production operations for A/V marketing materials for Amazon MGM Studios original movies and series. Their responsibilities will span multiple titles, cross-functional collaboration, SOP creation and maintenance.We are seeking someone who can shepherd positive, collaborative relationships within the creative marketing group and cross-functional teams, Studios post production executives and show post production teams on all titles. This role regularly engages with operations, finance, and technology teams. As a leader within the org, they will manage stakeholder communications and workflows to deliver high quality results. This role mainly works between the creative team, campaign management team, and the localization team both parallel and downstream of finishing to maintain proximity to information in a fast-paced environment. Being able to pivot and adapt to changes is crucial to the success of this role as well as maintaining a calm demeanor while working under tight timelines. The A/V Finishing Producer will report to the Lead of A/V Finishing within the Amazon MGM Studios Creative Services Marketing group.Key job responsibilities• Manage all operational aspects of video projects (trailers, tv spots, promos, sizzles, etc.) from inception to completion. This role will work very closely with cross functional stakeholders to ensure that the video deliverables are falling within the overall campaign timelines and budget and maintain content security protocol.• Create schedules, determine resources, estimate time, track costs and project completion requirements.• Will support creation of motion graphic A/V kits with agencies and any other A/V assets for campaigns so deep experience with Brand-ID elements such as audio mnemonics, colors, shapes, fonts and lines to create a variety of possible logos and other visual elements will be required.• Obtain necessary approvals and communicate plans to relevant stakeholders.• Ensure team establishes and maintains appropriate processes, procedures, forms and job tracking to keep video deliverables on time and on budget.• Anticipate and effectively mitigate problems; and consistently communicate to stakeholders about updates on progress, relevant delays or issues and budget implications.• Fluent in A/V formats with an understanding of the fundamentals of localization, post production, asset management, servicing, and trafficking.• Manage footage to be trafficked to external post vendors, dubbing studios and agencies.• Determine scope of work and obtain estimates from external agency partners.• Communicate creative feedback to agencies throughout the life of a project.• QC video files before releasing final files to the end user(s).• Deliver final files to internal and external partners as necessary.• Pull clips for publicity and social and release final files in varying codecs.• If required, manage localization of assets for multiple territories for day & date global marketing release, including graphics, subbing & dubbing as needed.• Work collaboratively and proactively with internal teams and external agencies to assess project requirements and ensure efficient development and delivery of video assets.• Provide regular feedback to the marketing and creative teams to establish project priorities and communicate milestones and deadlines.• Experience managing and delivering large volume of video assets to external partners a must.A day in the lifeEvery day in the life of a marketer is different but the role of the A/V Finishing Lead is to provide structure and consistency in a constantly-evolving environment. Managing trailer and TV finishing involves thinking ahead, checking in, and reacting to recent changes. In addition to collaboration with the core team, finishing involves maintaining close communications with vendors and providing clear instructions. Building budgets and timelines is a regular part of the job.About the teamThe A/V finishing team sits within the Creative Services team which comprises multiple divisions across a series of creative and technical disciplines that collectively partner, support and service a variety of Amazon MGM Studios marketing and content initiatives. This talented and diverse group of industry experts specialize in A/V and static art production, asset management, digital archiving, and a variety of sales, distribution, and marketing services efforts. They work on the most visible studios marketing material and deliver exciting assets for a global audience.Basic Qualifications- 3+ years of creative services experience- 3+ years of entertainment, brand or production entity experience- Experience and understanding of the workflow within a marketing, production, or creative department or company- Experience working at or with a creative or advertising agency, network, streaming service or studio- Experience working with stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications- Experience working on or with large-scale, global creative campaigns- Experience with asset management, design workflows, or partnering with creative teamsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
