This is an individual contributor role and can be located in Midland, MI, Houston, TX, Freeport, TX or Plaquemine, LA.In this role, you will be a member of the Office of Inclusion Team and will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective communication of the company’s ID&E commitment and progress. You will be responsible for production of premier events including EMERGE, Dow’s all ERG conference, and SOAR, Dow’s inclusion summit at the LPGA’s Dow Championship.You will also develop and implement a global employee communications strategy to support the company’s ID&E commitment and progress, including providing counsel to global Employee Resource Group communicators.We are looking for an expert in executive communications who can provide thought leadership with a focus on external activities, and who can act as a coach and advisor to the Chief Inclusion Officer. You will identify and create opportunities for executive communications and be responsible for driving internal and external communications (incl. media relations, issues management) on key strategic topics to engage key stakeholders, helping position Dow as an industry leader.This role requires a strong understanding of Dow’s strategy and its business structure. The successful candidate will have strategic and critical thinking skills, strong writing skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with global and diverse business, functional and geographic teams. It is also important to have a strong track record of converting complex concepts into compelling content and initiatives and enabling senior leaders and colleagues to act as ambassadors for Dow.Responsibilities+ Develop, maintain, execute, and measure a communications strategy that supports the Office of Inclusion and drives ID&E communication priorities.+ Focus on internal communications, ensuring that employees are well-informed, engaged, and aligned with the company's ambition, mission and values. This includes external communications including speeches, social media and traditional media.+ Collaborate closely with the Office of Inclusion, leadership, and other departments to enhance employee experiences and to align priorities with Dow’s corporate narrative.+ Develop framework to measure and report progress.+ Develop and produce communications for senior executives, including presentations, conference appearances, videos, speeches, and other digital and short-form content.+ Serve as a strategic partner for PA/GA colleagues around the world, providing guidance and insight related to the Office of Inclusion priorities.+ Maintain ongoing awareness of key corporate issues and priorities, including coverage of these issues and priorities within the media and company contacts accountable for each issue/priority.Qualifications+ A minimum of a bachelor's degreeorrelevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.+ A minimum of 7 years of communications and/or public relations experience.+ A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States.
