Review the position below and apply today.We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.At this time, Dominion Energy cannot transfer or sponsor a work visa or employment authorization for this position.This position does not offer relocation assistance.**Job Summary**Communicate the need and benefit of a large scale initiative to convert certain poor performing overhead distribution facilities to underground to internal and external stakeholders. Serve as a content expert and partner with numerous internal departments such as media relations and external affairs to present a united vision and strategy for Dominion. Utilize marketing skills to communicate with and positively influence external stakeholders regarding undergrounding projects. Serve as a department spokesperson and liaison with local governments, community groups, and individual homeowners. Participate in public workshops and lead informational sessions concerning proposed projects. Provide support for easement acquisition from individual homeowners. Develop marketing strategy for individual projects that leverages unique aspects of each project and the affected customer base. Prepare presentations based on selected marketing strategy. Utilize various methods of communications to keep customers informed of project status and to ensure customers have access to Dominion for issue resolution. Coordinate development of videos that document successful projects and that can be used in marketing to future customers. Coordinate customer satisfaction surveys and make improvement recommendations based on feedback received. Work closely with Project Manager to ensure overall success of program.**Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience**The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:-5-6+ years of experience speaking in front of groups-Demonstrated ability to speak persuasively and to gain consensus-Strong negotiating skills-Role related experience and success in dealing directly with customers-Exceptional skill preparing highly effective presentations and written documents (such as brochures)-Ability utilize electronic media as source of customer communications-Independently plan and organize schedule and work with minimal direction-Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines-Experience in Distribution Operations (preferred, not required)-Comfort dealing with all levels of management and staff-Expertise with Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Word and Excel**Education Requirements****Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:**Bachelor**Preferred Disciplines:** CommunicationsOther disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above**Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description****Working Conditions**Office Work Environment 51-75%Travel Up to 25%**Other Working Conditions****Test Description**No Testing Required**Export Control**Certain positions at Dominion Energy may involve access to information and technology subject to export controls under U.S. law.
