Highlighting this commitment, ITF Therapeutics successfully secured FDA approval in March 2024 for Givinostat, the first nonsteroidal medication approved to treat all genetic variants of DMD in patients six years of age and older. Givinostat is a histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor that has shown potential in reducing inflammation and fibrosis in muscles, thereby slowing the progression of the disease. The establishment of ITF Therapeutics also reflects Italfarmaco's goal to build a world-class team of experts that share a passion to make a positive impact for rare disease communities.The RoleAs the Director of Patient Marketing at ITF Therapeutics, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives that align with the brand strategy to engage and collaborate with the individuals, caregivers, and families of those living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a rare, genetic, neuromuscular disease. You will play a critical role in shaping the company's brand perception and driving the launch of an innovative drug to an underserved rare disease community.Primary Responsibilities:Lead all aspects of and the creation, development, and execution of the patient marketing strategy to support product launch and beyond.Manage execution of patient education strategy for personal and non-personal channels, including media and digital strategy for both branded and non-branded content.Effectively navigate all MLR requirements pertaining to Patient Marketing.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including the Patient Advocacy, Thought Leader Engagement, and HCP Marketing teams to generate insights at the field level and create dynamic content that will engage and educate patients, caregivers, and families.Utilize digital outreach channels including social media to enable wide-range community engagement. Interpret digital analytics to plan and optimize digital outreach strategies.Develop digital marketing infrastructure, including CRM and other tools.Identify opportunities for patient engagement through focus groups, conferences, awareness and fundraising drives, and other events. Coordinate ITF presence at these events.Work with patient services teams to develop and distribute effective branding and communications to patients.Maintain awareness of market developments and insights and report findings to leadership.Establish and manage strong working relationships with agencies and partner organizations to support ITF's initiatives.Required Skills:7+ years of marketing experience required. Rare disease or neurological disorders preferred.5+ years of experience marketing directly to patient populations required.Product launch experience strongly preferred.A proven track record of identifying, initiating, developing, and maintaining strategic business relationships in the rare disease space.Experience with non-person omnichannel marketing, analysis, and reporting.Ability to cultivate a working understanding of and effectively communicate the unique challenges and experiences of individuals living with DMD, their families, and caregivers and to articulate current healthcare trends.Proven ability to manage and coordinate agencies, partners, and vendors to achieve strategic business goals.Experience Identifying and codifying KPI and ROI metrics and reporting them to management.Thorough knowledge of FDA requirements and regulations as they pertain to pharmaceutical marketing initiatives.Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
