The successful candidate will be tasked with leading a team of marketing strategists to define and execute marketing strategies that support the growth of the company's annuity and pre-need businesses. This role requires a professional with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and an advanced degree is preferred, along with 10 to 15 years of experience in sales and marketing, particularly of annuity products. The VP will be responsible for amplifying brand and product messaging, collaborating with sales leadership on advertising and marketing campaigns, and ensuring that the marketing strategy aligns with sales goals and key metrics. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and mentor team members toward shared goals. The ideal candidate for this role at the company should be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, capable of developing strong working relationships with sales partners and simplifying complex sales concepts. They will be expected to have a proven track record in developing marketing campaigns, launching new products, and managing a portfolio of marketing materials. The VP will also be responsible for managing the prioritization of marketing activities, providing support for efficient execution, and establishing a lead management process in collaboration with the Performance Marketing leader. Strategic relationships across the organization, including with sales, product, legal, and compliance leaders, are a key aspect of the role, as is leading the development and implementation of Go-to-Market strategies for new products and firm launches.
