Our client, a local leader in designing and manufacturing retail display cases, is seeking a Mechanical Designer for a newly opened role. This position is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Designer to gain practical design experience.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and distribute new project documentation* Timely completion of projects at budgeted levels* Work with manufacturing during assembly of new models* Produce product designs for manufacturing* Establish preliminary Bill of Material requirements for materials and scheduling.* Work with Sales to develop customer concepts* Bill of Materials and MRP* Program Punch, Brake and CNC Machines* Support legacy documentation* Attend preliminary project meetings

Requirements and Qualifications:
* Advanced skill level in CAD/3D modeling* Advanced mechanical skill level* Intermediate skill level with refrigeration, electrical and mechanical* Intermediate CNC programming skills* Millwork experience* Excellent organization skills* Excellent communication skills* Team player
