DUTIES

:

Develops and maintains the front end of our e-commerce website, ensuring an engaging and intuitive user experience. Performs highly structured work assignments designed to develop broader and more in-depth knowledge and skill needed to perform higher-level assignments such as designing, documenting, programming, testing, and installing new Application systems or creating modifications to existing Application Systems. Implements user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and Liquid. Optimizes web pages for maximum speed and scalability. Ensures cross-browser compatibility and address any layout issues. Conducts code reviews and provides constructive feedback to peers. Troubleshoots and debugs issues that arise, providing effective solutions. Keeps Site ADA compliant and review current pages to ensure all updates keep this standard. Analyzes website performance via Google Analytics. Builds new Schema for updates according to team input and needs

Collaborates with designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to create responsive, high-performance web pages. Works closely with the UX/UI team to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code. Collaborates with the marketing team to implement and track website analytics and A/B testing. Collaborates with other internal counterparts for updates needed on the site.

Stays up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve the development process and user experience.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

:

Minimum :

Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a high school diploma/GED and one to two years of appropriate front end developer experience. Technical Certifications may be sufficient if the person possesses software development and technical work experience.Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, Liquid and modern front-end frameworks/libraries (React, Vue.js, Angular, etc.).Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.Experience with version control systems such as Git.Familiarity with front-end build tools and task runners (Webpack, Gulp, etc.).Knowledge of SEO best practices and web performance optimization techniques and tools for testing these areas.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.A portfolio showcasing relevant projects and code samples.Preferred (in addition to the minimum):

Three to five years analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing software applications in anenterprise/business environment. Applications consist of vendor purchased software and in house

developed software utilizing various programming languages.

Previous experience maintaining cyber security standards.Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG).Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Shopify, or Magento.Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG).Experience with animation libraries and techniques (GSAP, Framer Motion, etc.).
