As a Communications Lead, Enterprise Communications, within PNC's Marketing & Communications organization, you can be based in Pittsburgh, PA or one of the other Marketing & Communications locations listed.

The PNC Financial Services Group is seeking a Communications Lead to join its Marketing and Corporate Communications department. The Communications Lead will be part of the Employee & Executive Communications team, which includes Enterprise and Human Resources (HR) communications, as well as internal Audit, Finance, Legal, Risk, Regional Presidents Organization and CEO communications. The team also manages PNC's corporate recognition programs.

The Communications Lead will report to the Senior Communications Manager of Enterprise Communications.

What You'll Do:

As Communications Lead, you will work collaboratively across and beyond Marketing and Corporate Communications to:
• Oversee PNC's internal content standards and guidelines, including our intranet editorial queue and strategy and Written Communications guidelines.
• Lead channel diversification strategy to determine how to best leverage various internal and external communication channels to engage and connect with employees.
• Serve as the executive communications lead for PNC's chief risk officer and provide internal communications support.
• Leverage metrics, along with peer benchmarking and industry best practices, to help inform communications and activations.
• Lead special projects and manage other duties as assigned.

Job Description
  • Develops communication strategies in support of the strategic direction and oversees initiatives, materials, and staff priorities.
  • Develops communication strategies; plans, researches, and develops content for complex communications initiatives.
  • Identifies issues and opportunities, serves as trusted advisor to organization on all aspects of communication, and engages other parts of the organization to ensure strategic alignment, clarity, and accuracy of message.
  • Coordinates final review and approval before internal or external communications are released.
  • Leads project teams of increasing complexity, influences outcomes, and evaluates success as appropriate.
  • Consults and advises on communications strategies based on data-driven insights.
