In this position you will:

Develop creative visuals and messaging for digital and print media to be used for public consumption and for inter-departmental needs.Use multiple software platforms to develop layouts and design forms, brochures, rack cards, newsletters, reports, flyers, business cards, print advertisements, large format signage, social media content, logos promotional novelty items and more.Coordinate print production with contract vendors. Work closely with vendors, including printers and advertising representatives.Develop and execute visual concepts that fully support the brand and objectives and be able to clearly articulate the creative vision. Need to work under pressure to meet deadlines while providing excellent customer service.Explore ways to improve communications within the organization and to all citizens.Write and edit copy for print and digital advertisements and materials. Proof final drafts for copy and artwork before production.Typical Qualification

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Marketing, or experience in a related field with five (5) years of experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this job.Possession of a valid Driver's License and ability to pass a pre-employment background check including driving record.Working knowledge of all aspects of digital media, including content development, social media, videography, photography, mobile and web techniques and platforms.Experience with software programs including Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva and Microsoft office.

Compensation:The Town's complete compensation package includes salary, benefits, and a high performance culture.
