Are you wanting to further you experience and contribute to the community by helping our neighbors in need? LAPP has openings for current students or individuals who recently completed a certification program in the fields of Marketing, Social Media, and Graphic Design.
LAPP, formally named Licking County Alcoholism Prevention Program, is a non-profit 501c3 behavioral health agency that provides integrated behavioral health treatment, specializing in substance use disorders. We have a rich history in the community and provides services to individuals and families in Licking County regardless of the ability to pay. Services include outpatient/intensive outpatient treatment, assessment, treatment planning, referral linkage, court reports, a 72-hour residential Driver Intervention Program, a gender-specific Women's program to address the complexity of unique experiences, and community outreach. LAPP is the first and only primary substance use disorder treatment program for adolescents in Licking County!
LAPP is involved and have positive collaborative partnerships with the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Licking and Knox Counties, United Way of Licking County, Licking County Common Pleas, Juvenile, and Municipal Courts, multiple school districts, the Health Department, and other profit and nonprofit organizations.
We are seeking motivated students or recent grads to provide a platform to utilize skills learned and put them into practice. Duties may include:Create, design, and present for review brochures of our many programsDraft messages for public service announcements and adsAnalyze social media accounts and other tools for marketing and exposure of the great work being done at LAPPCreate flyers for resources, events, and recruitment effortsPropose designs and logos for branding purposesAssist with researching opportunities for maximum exposure (reaching out to media outlets (Radio, news, etc), profession writers, and journalist)Setup meetings and manage schedules related to marketingAssist in fundraising effortsProduce Digital Media ads, testimonies, and educational videos
Requirements for this internship opportunity
Current student or recent graduate of a certification program in the courses or programs in digital media, marketing/business, journalism, creative writing.
