Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.The Retail Digital Activation team is a critical part of our Retail Sales Transformation (RST) group and sits within Schwab’s Retail business to support our client-facing sales professionals and drive scale into their daily experience. Our strategic and operational support helps identify new clients and deepen existing client relationships with the ultimate vision of delivering an industry-leading wealth management experience as a trusted advisor. As the Digital Activation Product Manager, you’ll directly support our sales professionals who, in turn, support our retail clients.The RST group accomplishes this by setting strategic direction, business case development, listening to our client-facing colleagues, conducting detailed analyses, and playing a business owner role in select product delivery. We collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders, partners, executive leadership, data science/analytics, and product/technology to fulfill the vision. The Sr. Manager will initially support existing and new digital solutions as they are developed, diagnose pain-points and prioritize solutions in partnership with cross-functional teams, all while ensuring alignment with broader Retail business strategic vision.Strong project management, advocacy for representative and client experience, and cross-functional collaboration.What You Will Do - Champion Retail Digital ActivationAct as the business owner for Retail Digital solutions - own all business aspects of the product.Dedicated Prioritization – understand business priorities and project success, advocate for the representative and client experiences as solutions are developed in partnership with our Digital organization.Stakeholder Management - The business owner plays a major role in stakeholder management, working closely with digital and sales leadership.Partner Management - The business owner manages the relationships with key partners acting as a funnel to aggregate feedback and needs to the product owner(s).Business and Impact Analysis - Analyze the day-to-day business performance through field listening, identifying pain-points, and devising and executing on solutions in partnership with our Digital and Operations organizations.Field Activation - Develop and own a portion of the Field activation plan, monitor adoption, and engage relevant business partners to drive adoption.What you haveProgram Management experience – A total of 3+ years of full-time experience managing all aspects of product. Setting vision, developing business cases, influencing cross-functional partners and leaders, and executing against strategy.Client/Rep Focus – a deep understanding of the client and representative experience, with the ability to advocate for improved efficiency digitally and in our local branches.Technology Fluency - ability to converse with technology and product teams and comfort being part of high level architectural, platform, and delivery conversations. Salesforce, Tableau, Confluence, Microsoft Teams proficiency a plus.Digital Knowledge - Some background in Digital products and programs while not essential, is valued.Superior analytical skills - Strong interest in data analysis in Excel, translating insights into concise, executive-level presentations using PowerPoint.Ability to thrive in ambiguity - exploring new, yet untested concepts, ideas, programs and tackling new problems that require working with a wide variety of partners to find solutions.A bias for action - the ability to overcome obstacles, tackle challenges creatively, and successfully implement, at times, under tight deadlines. Curiosity for learning the intricacies of the business, systems, and processes is a must.Background - Financial Services industry experience, while not essential, is preferred.
