PURPOSEResponsible for developing and implementing the Foodservice Marketing objectives, strategies and tactics, managing the marketing communication as well as leading projects to drive profitable business growth. Additionally, the person will evaluate and manage pricing strategies across all segments and special bids, oversee contracts and claims processes, identify competitive gaps and priorities, manage DOT and support the business forecast.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESMarketing

Develop Marketing objectives, strategies and tactics to drive profitable growth by channel and evaluate results periodically.

Gather and analyze market research data to gain market insight and evaluate business strategies by segment.

Manage and work with the Foodservice Marketing Associate to develop and implement the Communication Strategies of the brand for the Foodservice segments through different media channels.

Work with the Foodservice Marketing Associate to ensure that the product information and specs are up to date across all the digital platforms.

Manage and properly track the Food Show and Marketing Budget.

Work with the Foodservice Marketing Associate, the Agencies, Partners and the cross-functional teams on new products, projects and marketing initiatives to support business growth.

Develop the Foodservice Marketing Associate.

Trade Marketing and Sales

Elaborate and communicate the Foodservice and special Price Lists for the different Foodservice segments.

Evaluate, get approval and communicate Bid pricing, Promotions and Price Targets to support business growth while reaching the business profitability objectives.

Work with the Contract and Claim processing system to ensure that Contracts are up to date and the claims are properly processed.

Manage DOT relationship including contract, products, claims and price discrepancies.

Work with the broker and cross-functional teams to identify competitive gaps and priorities for the Foodservice Team.

Elaborate Corporate and Sales Meetings Presentations.

Support the forecasting process of the monthly Foodservice volume.

Develop the annual Foodservice Budget G&A.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES

7-10 years of overall professional experience in Foodservice Management / Trade Marketing or Marketing.

Bachelor's degree in Business.

Broad knowledge and experience in Foodservice.

15% travel required – domestic and international – passport required.

Knowledge of corporate policies and compliance.

Demonstrated prior success in achieving results using team driven philosophies.

Demonstrated proficiency in supporting corporate interest from remote site locations and ability to communicate and exercise very positive people skills.
