Head of DesignJob Summary:The primary responsibility of the Illustrator/Concept Artist is to provide original 2D art concepts, illustrations, and designs that are stylistically in-line with the Warren Lotas LLC branding and aesthetic.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneDuties/Responsibilities:Collaborate with Creative Director, Head of Design, artists, and other Design Team members to understand the project, design, and finished product.Create original, clear, dynamic, and marketable concepts in line with Warren Lotas LLC’s artistic style.Create accurate designs based on prompts and visual references provided by the Creative Team.Revise projects as necessary based on feedback given from the Creative Director, Head of Design, and design team members.Research and study Warren Lotas LLC’s art catalog and past releases to better understand the brand and its artistic style.Ensure utmost quality and style of the project is achieved.Meet project objectives and timelines.Perform other duties as required.Required Skills/Abilities:Portfolio demonstrating foundational art skills (drawing, painting, rendering, perspective, composition, color theory, design, life drawing skills, and 2D techniques).Ideation, brainstorming, and documentation skills.Hand-drawn illustration skills required.Digital illustration skills required: Procreate, Corel Draw, or other illustration software.Other preferred software: Photoshop, Illustrator.Time management and prioritization skills - ability to work quickly and know when it’s more important to prioritize quality and time accordingly.Strong attention to detail.Receptive to creative direction and constructive criticism, and ability to seamlessly implement feedback.Ability to provide constructive feedback in a way that is effective and considerate.Ability to work independently on an assignment without supervision.Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer/tablet.Valid driver's license required.Must be able to lift or move up to 15 lbs using proper lifting techniques.Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.EEO statement:Warren Lotas LLC is a proud equal employment opportunity employer.
