Be one of the first applicants, read the complete overview of the role below, then send your application for consideration.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provides urgent, day to day support and issue tracking for Production Show video and projection elements repairs and maintenance.Provides urgent, day to day support, issue tracking, repairs and maintenance for all LED video walls including Theatre, Pool deck, Aqua Theater, Robo screen, Seaplex, etc.Provides urgent, day to day support and issue tracking for video projectors & signal distribution in all venues managed by the Entertainment Media Team onboard the Royal Caribbean Fleet.Provides non-urgent, day to day support and issue tracking for all shipboard public area Entertainment Media equipment including digital signage, bars, restaurants, shops, shore excursion, conference rooms, etc.Provides non-urgent, day to day support and issue tracking for Satellite TV system operations & repairs.Provides non-urgent, day to day support and issue tracking for virtual balcony cameras and signal distribution.Follow up with shipboard Entertainment Media staff to ensure that necessary action is taken to resolve any technical problems that impact the shows, performances, or guest experience.Tracks projection and display systems required periodic maintenance schedule.Tracks and coordinates equipment repair offloads and returns.Reads and responds to all applicable e-mails, messages and phone calls from the ships, and vendors concerning day-to-day repair, maintenance, operational and trouble-shooting issues.Schedules vendor service visits and ensures that all necessary travel arrangements, housing & cabin assignments, and boarding authorizations are completed.Liaise with manufacturer’s technical support teams and systems as required.In consultation with Entertainment Media Equipment Manager orders and tracks parts when required.Together with Entertainment Media Equipment Manager, assist and coordinate end of life cycle replacements & upgrades.Oversee the fleetwide equipment lists and databases, including Mood Media, Swank DMP, Projectors, Videos Walls, and other inventories.Perform other duties as required. Employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management.Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:Bachelor of Arts or Science – preferred emphasis in Business, Business Administration, Video/Media Production, or Media Management/Operations.2 or more years’ experience in Media, Leisure or Hospitality industry, in a team setting.5 or more years’ experience in Media Management/Operations or Media, Leisure or Cruise industry as plus.Significant knowledge or experience with the following systems a plus – Panasonic, Barco and Christie high-end video projectors, Daktronics & Absen LED videowalls, Coolux servers.Physical Requirements:The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, write, review and type reports, compile data, and operate a PC. The employee communicates, listens, compares variables, and assesses information. The employee regularly moves about the office complex, and may climb, descend, lift or move 10 pounds.Working Conditions:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations. The environment includes office location, and /or moving inside/outside the office. Responsibilities include traveling between numerous offices.
