Marketing Operations Specialist II will support Marketing's ability to deliver on brand, on budget and on time by leveraging technology, processes, vendors, and insights to support Marketing outcomes.

Responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements that ensure marketing best practices. Collaborates across the department and enterprise to prioritize and deliver enhancements and new capabilities to Marketing's marketing technology. The Marketing Operations Specialist II must be able to work in a fast-paced environment contributing to multiple projects at once.

Duties and Responsibilities

Works in partnership with manager and/or consultant to analyze the strategy, scope, calendar, and deliverables for marketing technology initiatives in alignment with marketing and enterprise strategies.Participates in the development of operational plans in support of the strategy.Assists in providing ongoing communication across the marketing and broader organization, sharing project updates, timelines, processes, and results.Develops, streamlines, documents marketing workflows, processes, and best practices.Participates in implementation of process improvements for long-term success.Creates effective communication with customers, leaders, and other stakeholders through written, verbal and interpersonal means.This includes the responsibility for communication/change management plans to increase engagement of marketing technology with end users.Partners to evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance.Manages and supports technical aspects of key marketing systems including system enhancements, defects and/or new platform rollouts.Manages marketing vendor relationships, budgets, contracts, and approvals.Seeks opportunity to provide marketing with value-added vendor management services in partnership with Sourcing & Vendor Management.Collaborates with IT and other functions where shared ownership and collaboration improves ability to manage the vendor.The first six duties listed are the functions identified as essential to the job. Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, finance, management, information systems or related field and two years of marketing, project management, information systems or related experience required; orAssociates degree in marketing, business, finance, management, information systems or related field and four years of marketing, project management, information systems or related experience; orHigh School diploma or GED and six years of marketing, project management, information systems or related experience.Additional Experience

Proven experience with implementing process improvements/efficiency required.Experience achieving business outcomes preferred.Strong technology acumen preferred.Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting and data analysis preferred.Working knowledge of the insurance industry, including business operations and terminology, preferred.Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software required.Occasional travel, including overnight stays, required.Physical Requirements
