This role serves as a key backup to the Store Manager and supports day-to-day operations while leading and coaching teammates.**We count on our Assistant Store Managers to:**+ Develop and implement visual merchandising processes to enhance the store's overall appearance and drive sales.+ Adapt and implement eye-catching displays that showcase merchandise in an appealing and organized manner with a focus on product as a hero.+ Collaborate with the regional visual team to align visual merchandising efforts with promotional campaigns and seasonal trends.+ Monitor and analyze sales trends to adjust visual presentation as needed.+ Train and supervise store teammates on visual merchandising standards and best practices.+ Manage the visual merchandising planning calendar and floor set lifecycle.+ Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in visual merchandising to continually provide feedback to the Americas Visual Merchandising team and ideate on ways to improve the store's presentation.+ Regularly run the floor to assess Athlete reaction to visual merchandising.+ Partner with Supervisor of Operations on merchandise prep and execution for floorsets and updates.+ Responsible for leading and/or supporting visual directives including mapping and floor sets.+ Consistently assess and provide ongoing performance feedback on coaching skills, job expectations, and Core Competencies through real-time coaching, scheduled touch-bases, individual development planning and the performance review process for our Supervisor, Keyholder, Lead Teammates, and Teammates.+ Drive teammate engagement by recognizing and rewarding teammates for their outstanding contributions.**To be considered for this role, you must meet these minimum requirements:**+ 2+ years of management experience, preferably in a retail environment+ Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices+ Available to work 40 hours a week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays+ Comfortable and/or willing to learn technology (such as hand-held and mobile devices)+ Strong communication and negotiating skills+ Ability to stand, lift, walk, reach, push, pull, bend and lift cartons weighing up to 25 lbs. during each work shift with or without an accommodation+ At least 18 years old+ High school degree or equivalent**You’ll be considered a top candidate if you also have:**+ 2+ years previous leadership experience in a retail visual merchandising role**Perks & benefits our Full-Time Assistant Store Managers receive:**+ Generous employee discount (50% off full-price items and 30% off sale items)+ Medical, dental and vision benefits+ Monthly bonus incentive pay eligibility+ Paid time off and holiday pay benefits+ Work-Life Assistance Program to support health, personal, family or work-related challenges+ Opportunities for professional development and advancement**Purpose of Role**The Assistant Manager of Visual Merchandising is responsible for adapting, implementing, and maintaining visually appealing displays and layouts to maximize sales, provide clarity of offer, and drive customer engagement. You will play a crucial role in shaping the overall look and feel of the Campus store, ensuring that our merchandise is showcased in an attractive and compelling way that simplifies shopping and highlights features and benefits of our collections. Your creativity and eye for detail will be key assets as you work to build an inviting and on-brand shopping environment.You will assist in driving the achievement of sales goals, profitability, and other Key Performance Indicators.
