Citi’s US in-house creative agency is looking for a Social Media Content Designer to bring innovative ideas and platform best practices to help grow our social team.This position requires a proven record of success in producing organic and paid social campaigns in an agency environment.The key characteristics for this position are:+ Out of the box thinker – Presenting unique concepts leveraging static designs, video and motion graphics to capture audience attention+ Continuous learner / Influencer – Engaging in continued education and sharing the findings with the team, introducing fresh ideas to our book of work+ Brand strategist – Strategizing the most effective methods of implementing brand guidelines to ensure a consistent look and feel that promotes the firm’s core principles+ Accessibility advocate – Checking creatives to ensure Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines have been properly implemented, providing a consistent and successful experience to all customers, regardless of ability**Key Responsibilities:**The primary responsibility of the in-house agency is to provide their partners with innovative and dynamic assets that adhere to brand guidelines, the client's central messaging and ADA compliance.The Social Media Content Designer is specifically responsible for:+ Partnering with a Copywriter, Design Lead and Creative Director to produce engaging and impactful social campaigns across platforms+ Building fresh and innovative visuals that are in line with Citi brand guidelines+ Develop and deliver social media content from start to finish including creative concepting, designing, shooting and editing+ Acting as a subject matter expert in social platforms, leveraging required specs and best practices for each social platform+ Participating in project kickoff meetings, internal reviews and client presentation calls to promote our high-quality assets+ Identifying and implementing the most effective methods of visually communicating a message (static, motion graphics, video, etc.)+ Demonstrating Citi’s purpose of making every client’s progress our passion**Qualifications:**+ 5 - 8 years of design experience with a focus on social media marketing+ Agency experience (in-house agency experience is a plus)+ Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud+ A proven history of design fundamentals (including typography, color theory, brand adherence, and critical thinking with regards to creative application)+ Experience with ADA compliance as it pertains to marketing collateral is a plus+ Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly and effectively discuss projects+ Successful experience partnering with internal clients and senior leaders+ Excellent organizational skills and the ability to keep track of multiple key priorities+ Ability to adhere to a process calendar+ Ability to successfully collaborate with local and remote team members+ A BA or higher in marketing or a related field+ Mac literacy**Hiring Locations:**+ New York, NY**Education:**+ Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience**Job Family Group:**Marketing**Job Family:**Communication & Creative Services**Time Type:**Full time**Primary Location:**New York New York United States**Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:**$98,960.00 - $148,440.00In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
