Manager, Special Event Planner_

**Unit Description**The **Event Planning Manager** serves as the main point of contact for corporate and social event clients during the latter stages of sales conversion and during post-contract signing and is responsible for event success through the day of execution. The Event Planning Manager reports directly to the General Manager.Key duties of the Event Planning Manager are:+ Deliver and ensure an exceptional hospitality experience for all customer types+ Conduct planning site tours for event coordination+ Coordinate with event contacts as needed, upsell and enhancement opportunities during the planning phase to generate post-contract revenue for Northstar 8 and the Skyboxes+ Create and share event order information with sales, operations, culinary and AV teams to ensure seamless execution of events+ Maintain extensive knowledge about all culinary, spaces, and services offered+ Elicit and accommodate all customer needs throughout the planning process+ Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and effectively, escalating to the General Manager where necessary+ Support the sales team in all activities developing new business and securing sales contracts+ Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback from clients and attendees, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes for future events.+ Support the Skyboxes features as needed, including boardroom-hosted events+ Step-in to fulfill operational tasks and duties in areas where employees have not yet been hired or when backfilling is required**The Good Eating Company was cooked up in London in 1999 around the kitchen table, over several bottles of Ribera del Duero.
