For more information visit www.uop.com.Accountabilities of this position include:+ Generating requisitions for various types of rotating equipment such as hot centrifugal fans and blowers, pumps, and compressors+ Incorporating applicable code and customer requirements in order to produce a complete technical definition of the equipment+ Assuming the primary liaison role with various outside suppliers+ Technically evaluating bids and participating in the supplier selection process+ Reviewing supplier designs against licensor requirements, code requirements, and customer requirements+ Coordinating with suppliers throughout the fabrication phase of the project+ Visiting shops for kickoff meetings, critical inspections, and in order to provide feedback to improve future designs+ Working closely with all members of the project team including quality assurance, piping, instrumentation, electrical, process, structural designers, purchasing personnel, and project managers to meet project requirements for rotating equipment.+ Staying current with applicable API standards for pumps and compressors+ Troubleshoot design issues and issue resolution.+ Working with team to update infrastructure.+ Provide sales support to review customer specifications and provide cost estimates for static equipment.YOU MUST HAVE+ Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering+ Experience in the specification of rotating equipment is required+ Experience with High Temperature Centrifugal Fans / Blowers is a plus+ Experience with pumps, compressors, lube oil systems, and seals is a plus+ Experience in an equipment manufacturing environment is a plus+ Good working knowledge and use of the following software applications is desired: Adobe Acrobat Standard and Microsoft Office (Word, EXCEL, Power Point)+ Organizational skills desired include a disciplined approach to maintaining project files for team use and good documentation of correspondence and issue resolution+ Capable of multi-tasking to maintain contributions on schedule for several projects simultaneously+ Ability to communicate well with suppliers in both written and verbal communication is desired+ Ability to work well in a team environment and provide proper updating of Project managers, Project Engineers, and+ Procurement of status of requisitions and document reviewsCompensation & Benefits:Incentive EligibleSalary Range: $135,000 - $168,500For benefits information, please visit oneywell.com/.Current employees may visit HR Direct.Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
