Overview:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Mechanical Designer specializing in rotating equipment to join our client's dynamic engineering team. The Senior Mechanical Designer will play a crucial role in the design and development of advanced rotating machinery and equipment. The successful candidate will bring expertise in conceptualizing, modeling, and detailing complex rotating systems, ensuring precision, reliability, and innovation.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and conceptualization of rotating equipment, such as pumps, turbines, compressors, and other related machinery.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute innovative design solutions.Conduct thorough engineering analysis to optimize performance, efficiency, and reliability of rotating equipment.Utilize analytical tools and software for stress analysis, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics.Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of rotating equipment using industry-standard CAD software.Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and client specifications.Collaborate with the prototyping and testing teams to facilitate the fabrication and testing of rotating equipment prototypes.Provide support during testing phases, analyze results, and propose design improvements as necessary.Generate comprehensive design documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and engineering drawings.Maintain accurate records of design changes and iterations.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior designers and engineers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in mechanical design with a focus on rotating equipment.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other relevant engineering tools.Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards related to rotating equipment.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a plus.Strong verbal and written communication skills.#LI-TJ1
